Microsoft celebrates the holidays with new Windows 11 wallpaper

  • Microsoft, in a procession, is releasing the backgrounds for its last month released Windows 11 operating system.
  • It has recently rolled out holidays-themed wallpaper for Windows 11 in order to commemorate the coming festivals.

Microsoft has brought forth holidays-themed wallpaper for Windows 11 operating system to celebrate the upcoming festivities, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and others. Microsoft has taken this step with an effect to the partnership with the artist named Kervin Brisseaux, a Haitian American creative director from New York City, to create wallpaper for Windows 11 that brings out the essence of the festivals by including the seasonal changes and magnificence in the environment, such as a biting cold with snowfall, depending upon atmospheric condition around you.

Kervin Brisseaux has collaborated with Microsoft to produce the abstract Windows 11 holidays-themed illustration in the form of wallpaper. If you are interested in downloading this wallpaper, you can do so from Microsoft’s blog post, which also gives details about the inspiration of the artist behind the creation of such marvelous festive wallpaper. According to the blog post, Brisseaux has taken inspiration from “the new color palette and softer, more approachable graphics of Windows 11.” You can see the elements like floral details featuring roses and ribbons that are sort of inspired by the rounded geometry of the icons in Windows 11, also citing the give and take-aways of the presents during the festivals.

The floral, festive wallpaper by Brisseaux is not the only wallpaper offered by Microsoft in the last seven days. The company has also rolled out its Windows 11 SE background, available to be downloaded by Windows 11 users. Windows 11 SE wallpaper features a pastel-themed setting with an edgy appearance and evident rigidness, including deep visuals. This is entirely contrary to the recently released holiday wallpaper featuring a soft and less-detailed aesthetic.
